Plunger check valves for cryogenic applications with frequent directional changes

Plunger or lift check valves are designed to prevent backflow of fluids and are commonly used on cryogenic bulk stations and pipelines. Their close-off ability prevents compressors and centrifugal pumps from operating in reverse if power is lost which is why they are usually installed next to those devices.

Product description

Self-actuated valves like lift check valves use gravity and the pressure of the product to operate. This feature ensures the valve closing off when undesired back-flow occurs.
